Boxes at 1160 Parsippany Blvd. and 1180 Route 46 were forcibly entered between 4 p.m. Jan. 22 and 7 a.m. Jan. 23, according to police. The mail collection box on Midvale Avenue in Mountain Lakes was also forced open during the same time frame.
The suspect emptied the boxes containing outbound mail.
"If you used the collection boxes during the above mentioned time frame, please verify that the person or business you sent mail to received it,” Parsippany police said the warning.
These incidents are currently under investigation.
